Hi friends,
Starting in June, Love, Brie is getting a bit of a glow-up — not in the “more content, more hustle” way (god no), but in the opposite direction.
After years of hustling, grinding, and churning out content like it was my full-time job (which... it often was/is), I realized recently I brought that same energy to my newsletter. I was writing and pitching new clients and angles hard. Cranking out new ideas because, yes, I was inspired, but also I guess…I just wanted to stay relevant. I wanted to DO IT ALL.
But Love, Brie was never meant to feel like a content machine. It was meant to be soft. Intentional. Authentic. Personal. Connected. And lately, I’ve felt a bit disconnected — from my writing and from you.
Don’t get me wrong, I love this space. I get so excited to share with you that sometimes I overdo it — old habits die hard. But I want to slow down and return to what makes this newsletter special: honest writing, a little bit of heart, and the feeling of being in good company. Less burnout, more meaning. For both of us.
So, moving forward — starting in June — you’ll notice a simpler format, a softer rhythm, and more intention behind each post. Fewer emails, but (hopefully) ones that make you feel something, maybe even inspire you, and at the very least entertain, amuse, and inform you about something — even if it’s just me and my latest shenanigans with my dating life and/or cat, Olive.
I’d also love to hear from you. I have a sense of what resonates thanks to analytics, but I want to know what you truly enjoy. Why did you subscribe? What do you want more of? Less of? I’ll include some polls and questions below so you can let me know. Be honest — I’m here to build something beautiful and fun with you.
And if you’ve been reading for free and loving it, consider upgrading to a paid subscription (no pressure, but also... love you forever).
Thanks for being here. Truly.
Love, Brie xoxo
