Mother’s Day is this weekend, and according to a new study from the dating app Hily, a mother’s opinion really matters to Gen Z when it comes to their love life.

A recent survey of 2,700 young Americans, found that nearly half of Gen Z women (46%) and over a third of Gen Z men (35%) say they wouldn’t date someone their mother doesn’t like.
